Ash crisis

Never thought one simple volcano in Iceland will have this huge impact on the world.

It's a global issue man!

And it definitely made my days heavier. It has been 7 days now and I was there from the very beginning! On day 1 facing passengers from 2 full flight telling them we are not flying tonight. Day 2, day 3, day 4, day 5, everyday, we gave ppl hope that we will be flying out but unfortunately we couldn't fly.

Day 6, Nats announced they will open airspace at 01.00AM uk time. We supposed to arrive at 04.00AM, so we opened our flights and were SO ready to go. But then the higher levels needed to review the status of the airspace. Most of the passengers were checked in already, how are we gonna deal with these 500 passengers? Trust me, I wanted to faint! Passed out, get the medics to get me and go to the hospital and rest! *yeahh* Unfortunately, the reality was something else.

Flight was eventually announced to be delayed for 24hours. Luckily most of the passengers were very understanding (Thank God they were!). It really makes a different if people are actually understanding and appreciating what you are doing for them.

"Girl, u must be very tired, but you are doing a good work, very professional!"

"It's a Sunday night and you still are ringing people regarding the cancel flight, I really appreciate that, thank you very much!"

"Thank you so much for the information, I know its not your fault, you are doing a very good job!"

Day 7, tonight, are we finally gonna fly?
